UOS

Introduction

UOS (Unity Online Services) is Unity's official cloud services platform for games, covering CDN, Remote Config, Matchmaking, Push, Storage, Stacktrace, Passport, and more.

Tuanjie AI lets you bind a UOS app to a workspace. Once bound, Codely automatically fetches and stores the app's credentials, so you can have Codely develop, test, and deploy the related cloud services directly through UOS Skills — no manual copying of App IDs or secrets.

Opening the UOS Settings Page

Click the ⚙️ icon to enter Settings (you can also find Settings through '/'), then select UOS under the WORKSPACE group in the left-hand menu.

UOS apps belong to the currently logged-in Unity account, so make sure you are logged in first.

Page Overview

The UOS settings page (Unity Online Services app management) lists all apps with UOS enabled under your account. Each app card shows its organization, app name, App ID, and the enabled service tags.

FeatureDescription
App listSplit into "Recently used" and "All apps" sections for quick access to frequently used apps.
NewCreate and enable a new UOS app by selecting an organization and a project in the dialog.
Organization filterFilter the app list by organization.
Service filterShow only apps with the selected services enabled (e.g. CDN, Remote Config, Matchmaking, Push, Storage, Stacktrace).
SearchSearch apps by keyword.
Copy App IDCopy the app's App ID with one click.
Hide / UnhideTemporarily hide rarely used apps from the list; show them again when needed.
CheckOpen the UOS console to view the app's detailed configuration.

Binding a Workspace

Binding tells Codely "which UOS app this workspace uses".

Steps:

  1. Find the target app on the UOS settings page and click Bind workspace (or Bind current project on the app card).
  2. Select the workspace to bind in the popup list.
  3. Once bound, Codely automatically fetches the app's credentials (App ID and secrets) and saves them to the workspace's .codely-cli/uos.json file.

Binding rules:

  • One app can be bound to multiple workspaces: the same UOS app can serve several workspaces at once; the app card lists all bound workspaces.
  • One workspace is bound to at most one app at a time: binding a new UOS app to a workspace replaces the previous app's credentials.
  • Effective from the next conversation: the credentials are injected into conversations as environment variables (e.g. UOS_APP_ID, UOS_APP_SERVICE_SECRET) that UOS Skills scripts can read directly.

When configuring Skill environment variables, you can also choose to save credentials globally to ~/.codely-cli/uos.json (available to all workspaces) or to the current workspace's .codely-cli/uos.json.

Using UOS Skills

After you download UOS-credential-dependent Skills from the marketplace, such as uos, stacktrace (crash reporting), and device (device cloud), Codely automatically opens the UOS app and workspace binding dialog to guide you through the setup — no manual secret entry is required:

  • Workspace already bound to a UOS app: configuration completes silently; start using it right away.
  • UOS apps exist but the workspace is not bound: pick the UOS app and workspace in the dialog, and Codely binds it and writes the credentials automatically.
  • No UOS apps yet: follow the dialog's guidance to the UOS settings page and create one.

After configuration, you can ask Codely to develop, test, and deploy the related cloud services directly in the conversation, without exiting or passing credentials manually.

Unbinding

Open an app card on the UOS settings page to see its bound workspaces. Click the ✕ next to a workspace entry and confirm to unbind it.

Note: unbinding a workspace clears the UOS credentials saved in that workspace. UOS Skills that depend on it can no longer access the app until you bind one again.
